Lauren has a Degree in Event Management and over the past two years has gained extensive experience in conference secretariat services. Lauren has specialised in the management of conference registration, including microsite development, online registration systems and event virtual secretariat services.
Aaron heinrich – Senior Event Manager/ Accommodation Manager
Aaron has had a period of 10 years within the event management and entertainment industries. For the last four years, Aaron has worked exclusively for LOUD conferences & events specialising in management of conference registrations, micro-site establishments, transportation, payment and additional logistics
Mark Edwards – Theming Manager
Mark Edwards has had eleven years in themed events, working on several large functions ranging from CHOGM, the Sydney Olympic Games and numerous other events throughout South East Queensland and Australia.
Mark is a fully licensed rigger, and with experience in lighting, sound and vision Mark and his team can turn an ordinary room, marquee or space into a venue that will exceed your dreams and is guaranteed to delight!
Nigel Boyle – Production Manager
Nigel is a carpenter, joiner, house and set builder who brings an enormous depth of knowledge and expertise to the realisation of a project.
Nigel is a qualified tradesman with over 25 years experience working as a carpenter and 6 years experience in the Production Manager role within Hedgehog Events. He is committed to quality workmanship, ensuring all building and safety standards are met.
Honing skills and encouraging the natural talents of young artists and craftsman has become a passion for Nigel. Nigel directs and leads an amazing team of sculptors, artists and tradesmen within LOUD, who design, build and deliver within budget and on time - everytime
Guy Shelton – Graphic Designer & Print Manager
With tertiary qualifications in graphic design and a background from the corporate sector working within public relation and marketing departments, Guy is well versed in all facets of graphic design. He understands intrinsically corporate branding as well as the many applications of print media used within and throughout all kinds of conferences, events and trade shows. From 20m banners to the smallest of stickers, Guy understands the use of colour, the direction and movement of the eye and the mediums used to print on.
Kris Parker – Creative Director
Kris brings to the table incredibly diverse conference and event experience. LOUD
conferences & events draws on her marketing skills to match clients branding, image and event objectives, ensuring they are tied into each event or conference project.
Jason Segal – Scenic Artist
Jason we like to refer to as our jewel. He is art school trained, a qualified sign writer and a reformed graffiti artist! He has spent the majority of his career in scenic workshops and on movie sets creating faux finishes for just about everything. He has a natural eye for colour and incredible attention to detail… he was just born this way!
Matt Wenn – Senior Carpenter
Matthew is a trained senior carpenter, shopfitter and marine fitter. He brings over 20 years of experience working as a carpenter and joiner on a myriad of theatre projects, feature film and TV commercials. Matt has incredible eye for detail.
Matthew has wide experience in the exhibition industry and his talents have taken him through various parts of the world including USA and Monaco.
Derek Burgess – Senior Carpenter
Derek has wide experience in the exhibition industry building custom displays and custom trade show stands, as well as one off furniture pieces. He has been the leading carpenter on various films as set and prop building as well as stand in carpenter on films and TV commercials. Projects have included Inspector Gadget, Thorn Birds and the Great Raid.
Derek has extensive experience in a wide range of mediums including traditional carpentry and cabinetry, laminate, metal work and fibreglass, and finds pleasure in combining elements of these mediums for the best project solution.
Barry Burton – Senior Metal Designer
Barry is one of those genius guys that we love but are secretly all jealous of – he can do anything! He is our leading metal sculptor and welder and produces the backbone and framing of many of our larger pieces. He is also a fibreglass expert and poly foam carver, also working with aluminium, stainless steel and wrought iron. Barry’s experience includes the Matrix, Great Raid as well as effects work for a theme park in Germany.
He also has a background in mechanics and converts both old and new vehicles for both film and television projects.
